Our Mission Statement
While attending the University of Arkansas and participating within the horn studio you will be a member of a strong, supportive, musical community.
During the years you are here you will learn the following: 1) the foundations of the horn through structured warm-up and technique exercises 2) how to musically express yourself through chosen solo literature and etude material 3) how to learn, read, and execute musical intent within a variety of keys, meters, styles, rhythms, and tempi 4) how to successfully plan and organize your goals for your career 5) how to balance your work, practice, and mental wellness and finally 6) how music will continue to be a part of your life moving forward.
